The Perishing of Sir Ashby Phipps

(A Victorian-era mini-campaign)

Friday the 1st of June, 1866. Minor baronet Sir Ashby Phipps, a robust and even-tempered man of some fifty summers, was found dead four days ago in his garden, a look of unimaginable terror on his face. Can this really be a simple case of heart failure?

This is a slow-paced, investigation-heavy occult mystery set in Victorian Lincolnshire. It includes extensive notes on the setting which may be useful for running your own scenarios in a similar place and period. The GM’s sections include suggestions for adapting the scenario to different eras and settings. It includes nearly 30 handouts.

July 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska. A series of burglaries leaves victims with strange burns and missing voices. The agents of Tetra Group, part of a secretive agency investigating strange events, are sent to deal with things discreetly. They’ll find a trail leading back to Victorian England, with its roots in the ancient past. An old power has been loosed at last, and set about remaking this strange new land in a more familiar image. Can the agents put a stop to events before Nebraska is lost to the wilderness? Don’t stray from the path, don’t listen, and beware the faerie lights…

A mystery with a focus on investigation, and little or no combat. Suitable for investigative weird and horror roleplaying. Pregens and NPCs are presented with percentile stats. In the beauty of autumn in upstate New York, a young professor’s wife has mysteriously fallen ill. He suspects sorcery may be involved.

It’s up to the investigators to discover the truth about what happened, all while avoiding being caught up in the tangle of his life.

Meant to evoke classic Weird Tales, Pale Conjure is inspired by the stories of Fritz Leiber, HP Lovecraft, and movies like The Witch and The Devil Rides Out.

Circle of the Moon

(A Jazz-Age mini-campaign set in Germany)

Set in a derelict estate in post-war Germany in 1920, Circle of the Moon lets you draw your players into the enigmatic world of a secretive sisterhood seeking empowerment.

As new initiates, the characters will delve into the hidden motives of its leaders—Wilhelmine, the aristocratic crone with visions of a grand “German future,” her daughter Luise, who is unraveling under eldritch influences, and another daughter, Lotte, a cunning woman with a sinister agenda.

The narrative climaxes under a crescent moon, where loyalties are tested, and the veil between the ordinary and the supernatural is torn, unleashing unearthly horror.

Sasquatch

(A modern-era scenario)

It is a brisk day in Colorado, and people have gone missing in the woods over the past few years. To Tanner Gibson, famous nature explorer youtuber, this is the perfect opportunity to exploit that tragedy to film a bigfoot hoax for his channel, hoping to drive views and subscribers in the face or increasing irrelevance. With a small crew, he has headed up into the wilderness to film a series of videos that he hopes will reenergize his influencer status (and more importantly his wallet).

The players take the roles of Gibson’s film crew: Elliot Hill (Cameraman), Andrew Grant (Sound Guy), Gracie Fischer (Makeup), and Kai Sutton (Bigfoot), as they attempt to film Gibson’s hoax. What they found out in the woods is more than they could have ever expected.
